We’re thrilled to share that our boat arrived last week and we’re currently wiring it up to connect the electric outboard and batteries — so it won’t be long before she’s fully up and running! 🔋⚡
Once she’s ready, the boat will be a game-changer for our river work, helping us tackle the invasive Himalayan Balsam and Floating Pennywort that have been taking over the Channelsea waters. We’ll be starting with the Himalayan Balsam along the Long Wall Path.
This work kicks off at our monthly eco gatherings — the first Saturday of every month, 11am–1pm. Whether you donated, spread the word, or are just hearing about us for the first time — please come along and get stuck in! All are welcome. 🌱
